As well as helping fund formal education through the child sponsorship program we are also committed to helping support groups and individuals with teaching and resource materials to meet their needs.

In 2006 we were able to help our partner organisation, Youth With A Mission by providing a week of teaching sessions for a group of students undertaking the YWAM Discipleship Training School in Cagayan De Oro City. While we were there we also provided a guest speaker for the YWAM Mothers Group meeting in the Dau Community.

We see training local people in workplace skills as a key element to helping them to achieve financial independance and escape from poverty. Working with our various partnership organisations we have provided business start up training materials and guidance to a number of people considering starting their own small businesses and we anticipate doing more of this in the future.

We have produced a short guide aimed specifically at helping people who are new to running a business to get off the right start with advice about identifying markets, promoting the business and managing the finances.

One of our specific objectives, as a charity is to promote the Christian Faith. Therefore every computer that we ship has a Bible program installed, along with study guides. We also provide devotional aids and Christian literature for our mission partner organisations.
